A vulnerable road user is someone who has very little or no protection around them. This means drivers must correctly anticipate their movements and understand the safest ways to share the road with them. This is particularly true for business drivers who spend prolonged periods of time out on the roads and may encounter several vulnerable road users on a single journey.
