One year of the new Highway Code – how well do your drivers know the Hierarchy of Road Users?

By 31st January 2023No Comments

It’s been just over a year since sweeping changes were made to The Highway Code, placing proportionate responsibility on road users according to their potential to cause harm.

The Hierarchy of Road users, the central idea behind the changes to the new Highway Code, places pedestrians at the top of a pyramid, giving them the highest priority, with HGVs at the bottom – with the least priority, and the most responsibility.

With research suggesting that more than half of UK Drivers don’t know the code, we’d like to take this opportunity to find out for ourselves how well UK drivers are educated about the Highway Code – please complete this quiz and share it with others to help us build an accurate picture of how much work is needed to bring UK road users up to speed.
